Turkey Day Donut Dash
Donut Dash - Day of Guide
📍 Arrival Time

We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to get your dash number and mingle with friends and neighbors.

9:00 AM - Family warmups will start, which will lead us into the start of the dash
Bib Pickup

Head to the Check-In table, which will be located next to the finish line flags.

What to Bring
To make your morning easy and fun, bring/wear:

Running shoes & comfortable athletic clothing

Layers (the Donut Dash will not be canceled for weather!)

Water bottle — we will have some water, but ask that everyone try to bring their own reusable water bottles

Your sense of humor, excitement for your community + donut appetite 🍩

Costumes or fun themed attire!
Donut Dash Start Details

Warmups will start at 9:00 am. We encourage everyone to participate

After warmups, we will begin the dash. We have a record number of participants this year, so we ask that everyone remember this IS NOT timed and that we start in 3 waves - Fast runners, joggers, and walkers

Listen for announcements, so you know when your group is lining up.
Donut & Coffee Stations
Get ready—donuts await!

After you finish your 1-mile dash, we will have coffee and donuts from Duck Donuts waiting for you. We ask that all participants take only one and wait until everyone has had their first before asking for more.

Safety & Support

STREETS WILL NOT BE CLOSED. All participants must use the sidewalks and use caution when crossing streets

This is a neighborhood/community event with the sole purpose of bringing the community together to start our day off with Thanks to our community, friends, family, and neighbors.

This event is 100% volunteer-driven. We are not professionals; we are just a bunch of parents who love where we live and want to continue building this community.

Water - As noted earlier, we will have some water, but ask that everyone bring their own

Bathrooms - There will NOT be access to bathrooms, so please plan accordingly.

Volunteers will be stationed throughout the course—look for bright shirts and ask if you need help.

Streets will NOT be blocked - as noted when you signed up, we are asking that participants use the sidewalks and watch for cars. Parents, we ask that you stay with your kids while running to ensure they are staying safe.
Weather Policy
The Donut Dash is a rain-or-shine event. In the case of severe weather, updates will be sent via email and posted to our website and social media.
